Adult Cycling

Minibikers, in partnership with Cycling Uk since 2020, have delivered several Adult Learn to Cycle and Dr Bike sessions. We are extremely proud of our partnership and of the fact that together we have taught hundreds of adults how to ride a bike. In conjunction we have supported several people from all ages, backgrounds and abilities, to cycle safely and easily while still having fun.

Learn to Ride

In signing up, you will have the support of an instructor that adapts training needs to support you as an individual.

All equipment is provided, you just need to pre book and turn up.

The class is such a great investment for the kids. Learning on the crash course has been amazing. The teachers are lovely and so patient. Definitely recommend to anyone who has a stubborn child that won’t listen to you when teaching them lol.

Mini bikers was great for our son, as he was frightened and unsure, even on a balance bike.

Level 1 was recommended to us, as he wasn’t able to ride a bike and was so frightened. His instructor, Kelly, soon put him at ease and by the end of his first lesson, he was excited for his next lesson. We then booked for level two. Our son, was then able to ride a bike.
At the time of our son’s level one course, our son was a large 6 year old and the centre still had balance bikes suitable for him. Thank you Mini Bikers.

Brilliant course to help your child learn how go from a balance bike, straight to a pedal bike without stabilisers. Both my sons did the courses and can now ride their bikes confidently. Kelly was amazing with the kids and really encouraged them. I would definitely recommend them 😊

We’ve used mini bikers for both of our kids. One child on balance bike and one on peddle bikes. My son was very nervous and had struggled previously on a balance bike. By the end of the first lesson the difference was amazing. He progressed so well we’ve booked him into the intensive peddle bike class for the summer. My daughter has done amazing in the short time she’s been learning with Mini-Bikers. I cannot recommend mini-bikers enough. The teacher is so good at interacting with the kids, she creates a fun atmosphere with very clear instruction. We definitely recommend to anyone wanting their child to learn how to ride a bike with confidence.

We recently attended the Level 2 peddle sessions in Cotgrave. Our teacher, Terry, was a great. So patient with the smaller kids and adapting the lesson to suit the different kids ages and abilities.
My LO has just turned 4 and is able to ride a peddle bike with confidence thanks to these lessons.
We’re working on building up the confidence but for now we’re loving showing off the new skill.

We had a really fabulous time at mini bikers and we could see the progress he made during the course. The time was unstructured and some direction would have been nice, but that being said it was a wide age range and he enjoyed the free flow nature of the group! Would recommend and will sign up again in a few months after a little break!

Lessons have been really good. The instructors have managed my child’s ability well, and really helped grow confidence riding without stabilisers.

First lesson was the first ride without stabilisers, and the instructor judged where to support and where to let my child take the reins.

Since then my child can now happily get started and ride much more confidently, even riding over the ramps etc.

My son has absolutely LOVED his Mini Bikers course. Jas & Kelly are so supportive and encouraging and have really fostered my sons confidence during the course. The course was pitched perfectly and the improvement in my sons skills was incredible. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mini Bikers!

Our son did the 5-week Toddler Balanceability course and he loved it, within a couple of sessions he was speeding around on the bike. It’s a free play course with loads of toys and things to keep the kids interested. Everything is provided other than a helmet so you bring your own. I highly recommend Mini Bikers, we’re already looking to book on another of their courses.
